Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a dedicated Associate Attorney to join its team in Salt Lake City, UT, with additional opportunities for remote work in Alaska. This full-time position focuses on real estate law, mortgage banking litigation, and property-related legal proceedings. The ideal candidate will provide legal representation, analyze case law, and advocate in court proceedings.

Duties:

• Represent financial institutions in real estate foreclosure, evictions, bankruptcy, and related property law matters.

• Stay updated on legislative changes, case law, and regulatory compliance.

• Attend court hearings, trials, and legal proceedings as required.

• Offer legal advice and strategic support to clients regarding property-related disputes.

• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings and contracts.

• Collaborate with legal teams to ensure efficient case management.

• Negotiate settlements and resolutions when appropriate.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law and an active member of the Bar.

• Experience in real estate, foreclosure, bankruptcy, or mortgage law preferred.

• Strong legal research and analytical skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines efficiently.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar.

• License to practice law in Louisiana is a plus.
