Requirements

  • Active license to practice law in Michigan, or completion of the Michigan Bar exam in February.
  • At least 2 years of experience preferred, ideally in family law or estate planning.
  • Experience in litigation is highly valued.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Comfortable in a courtroom setting and able to present cases effectively.
  • Proficient in using modern legal technology and tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active Michigan Bar license (or eligibility to take the Michigan Bar exam in February).
