Duties:

  • Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
  • Collaborate with unions, employee benefit trust funds, and workers to address legal issues and provide strategic counsel.
  • Participate in advocacy and policy efforts to promote workers' rights and the labor movement.
  • Attend hearings, arbitrations, and mediations as needed.
  • Maintain accurate case files and documentation.
  • Stay updated on changes in labor and employment law.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar.
  • Experience or strong interest in union labor, employment, and employee benefits law.
  • Demonstrated commitment to workers' rights and the labor movement.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
