Duties:

  • Lead and manage complex mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions from inception to completion.
  • Draft key deal documents, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client goals.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence and manage all related activities.
  • Collaborate with clients, providing guidance and addressing their legal needs.
  • Supervise and mentor junior associates, fostering their professional growth.
  • Coordinate with internal specialists to ensure smooth deal execution.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients and colleagues throughout the process.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in general corporate practice, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions.
  • Exceptional communication and drafting abilities.
  • Strong organizational and deal management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage significant responsibilities.
  • Team-oriented mindset, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage complex tasks simultaneously.

Education:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.

Certifications:

  • Admitted to practice law in California.

Skills:

  • Expertise in mergers and acquisitions and corporate law.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
