Workers Compensation Associate Attorney

A law firm specializing in Workers' Compensation defense seeks a motivated Associate Attorney to join its Orlando office. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling Workers' Compensation cases and possess strong advocacy and analytical skills.

Job Duties:

• Represent clients in Workers' Compensation proceedings, including hearings and trials.
• Conduct legal research and provide advice on Workers' Compensation matters.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
• Attend depositions, mediations, and hearings as necessary.
• Review medical records and other relevant documents.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida Bar and member in good standing.
• 1+ years of experience in Workers' Compensation defense preferred.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with virtual work environments preferred.
