Job Location: Austin, TX

Job Overview: A prestigious law firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney to join its Investment Funds Group. The ideal candidate will possess at least 3 years of substantive experience in real estate, focusing on acquisitions, dispositions, and financings. Experience with securities offerings is a plus. This role is suitable for both full-time and part-time arrangements. The firm values candidates with strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills, who are capable of working independently and collaboratively.

Duties:

  • Advise clients on real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.
  • Provide strategic guidance on real estate investments within the context of investment funds.
  • Draft and negotiate real estate and financing agreements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to ensure efficient deal execution.
  • Conduct legal research and provide insights to enhance client strategies.
  • Manage multiple projects while ensuring timely and high-quality work products.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and third parties.
  • Support the development of junior attorneys and assist in fostering team growth.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of real estate law experience.
  • Proven track record in real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and financing.
  • Familiarity with securities offerings is advantageous.
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar admission in Texas.
