Duties:

• Independently manage caseloads alongside senior attorneys.
• Conduct legal research using platforms like Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw.
• Review and draft legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and briefs.
• Handle discovery, analyze medical and employment records.
• Represent clients in court, conduct depositions, and attend meetings.
• Communicate with clients, providing status updates and ensuring client satisfaction.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in medical malpractice, public entity defense, general liability, or civil litigation.
• Licensed to practice law in the state of California.
• Experience in handling civil litigation matters, including complex torts and catastrophic injury cases.
• Familiarity with insurance defense litigation, carrier billing, and reporting guidelines is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, oral advocacy, and writing skills.
• Motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in California.
