A law firm seeks an experienced Patent Litigation Attorney to join its team in a remote capacity. This senior-level role requires a dynamic individual comfortable handling all aspects of patent litigation, from case development to courtroom representation. Duties

  • Lead and manage all phases of patent litigation, including pre-trial motions, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
  • Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct depositions, negotiate with opposing counsel, and argue cases in court.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement legal strategies for cases.
  • Oversee case management, including coordinating with experts and witnesses.
  • Provide legal advice to clients and help guide their litigation strategies.
  • Stay current with developments in patent law and provide insights to improve case outcomes.

Requirements

  • Senior-level associate or partner with extensive experience in patent litigation.
  • Strong understanding of patent law and litigation processes.
  • Experience handling complex patent cases from inception through trial.
  • Technical background preferred (e.g., in engineering, computer science, or a related field).
  • Proven ability to draft legal documents and provide litigation strategies.
  • Skilled in negotiating with opposing parties and presenting cases in court.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills.

Education

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Bar in at least one state.
