A prominent law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney with 7+ years of practice to join their dynamic Litigation Business Unit in Houston, TX. This role offers an opportunity to work on high-stakes trials while playing a key part in managing client communications, team efficiency, and strategic project coordination. The ideal candidate will possess strong litigation experience and a passion for leading impactful projects within a collaborative and innovative environment.

Duties:

• Collaborate with trial teams and manage trial calendars.
• Assist in staffing decisions within the Litigation group, ensuring appropriate resource allocation.
• Draft, review, and finalize litigation documents such as motions, briefs, and discovery materials.
• Participate in e-discovery and other discovery tasks, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Coordinate witness preparation for depositions and trial testimonies.
• Develop client communications and tailor industry insights through newsletters, presentations, and thought leadership materials.
• Oversee long-term project management, aligning efforts with strategic goals.
• Work with practice managers, group leaders, and partners to identify staffing needs and ensure effective resource distribution.
• Drive efficiency through collaboration with cross-functional teams to maximize the impact of client work.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of litigation experience.
• Expertise in drafting and managing complex legal documents, including briefs, motions, and discovery.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain intricate legal concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work within a fast-paced, collaborative, and matrixed environment.
• Excellent time management skills, with a commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering exceptional client service.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in a State Bar.

Certifications:

• Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the State Bar of Texas or eligible for admission.
