A reputable law firm based in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Mid-Level Associate Attorney specializing in venture and growth transactions. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in lender-side representation for commercial finance matters, working with banks or private credit funds, particularly in sectors such as technology, life sciences, or middle-market companies.

Duties:

  • Effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, business professionals, and external parties through both verbal and written means.
  • Deliver high-quality work products, answer phone calls, and manage correspondence on time.
  • Meet deadlines and performance expectations, ensuring all work is completed accurately.
  • Foster and maintain positive professional relationships.
  • Adhere to the firm’s policies and procedures.
  • Participate in meetings, conference calls, and other team-based activities, both virtually and in person.
  • Handle a combination of sedentary and physical tasks, such as working at a computer for extended periods and managing virtual engagements.
  • Perform all additional duties or projects as assigned by leadership.
  • Effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience representing lender-side clients in commercial finance matters.
  • Demonstrated experience working with banks or private credit funds on loans, especially in the technology, life sciences, or middle-market sectors.
  • Strong understanding of legal processes, client management, and compliance standards.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admitted to practice law in Arizona.
