A law firm in Miami, FL, is seeking a Mid-Senior Level Associate Attorney specializing in commercial real estate finance litigation and related transactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong drafting, communication, and supervisory skills, with the ability to work independently and lead teams on various legal projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee teams and lead projects involving litigation document management, filings, and other legal initiatives.
  • Draft complex motions and pleadings, including preparing ancillary filings and ensuring compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
  • Assist in trial preparation, conducting legal research, drafting discovery requests/responses, and preparing witnesses for testimony.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Bar in Florida (active and in good standing).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial real estate finance litigation and related transactions, or a strong desire to specialize in this area.
  • Experience in bankruptcy litigation would be advantageous and desirable.
  • Exceptional academic credentials, demonstrating strong performance in undergraduate and law school studies.

 

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent drafting skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities, capable of articulating complex legal concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Experience in supervising and mentoring junior associates and legal staff.
  • Proficiency in legal research methodologies and software tools.
