General Liability Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its General Liability practice group in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will have strong writing, research, and litigation skills. The Associate will work in a collaborative and dynamic environment with a focus on handling general liability cases. Location:

• Philadelphia, PA

Duties:

• Review case files and analyze legal claims and causes of action.

• Conduct extensive legal research and draft briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefs.

• Meet the annual billable requirement of 1,950 hours.

• Represent clients in court, at arbitrations, and in depositions.

• Draft and respond to discovery requests.

• Collaborate with expert witnesses.

• Prepare for and attend trial proceedings.

• Travel may be required for case-related matters.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in General Liability.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-approved law school.

• Admitted to practice in the state of Pennsylvania (other state licenses are a plus).

• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong research, writing, and oral communication abilities.

• Ability to self-manage and work effectively in a team.

• Excellent client service skills and professional demeanor.

• Prompt responsiveness to emails and phone inquiries.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-approved law school.

Certifications:

• Must be admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania.

• Additional state licenses are a plus.
