Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation/Insurance Coverage Attorney with 2-5 years of insurance coverage experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess vital research and writing skills and be confident appearing before court. Bar admission in PA, NY, NJ, MA, or DE is helpful.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handle complex commercial litigation and insurance coverage matters from inception to resolution.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy and development.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Appear in court for hearings, motions, and trials, confidently representing clients.
• Provide legal counsel and advice to clients on insurance coverage issues.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to prepare for trials and legal proceedings.
• Manage and prioritize a diverse caseload to meet deadlines and client needs.
• Engage in negotiations and settlement discussions with opposing counsel.
• Conduct depositions and interviews to gather information and evidence.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments in insurance law and litigation practices.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation.
• Admission to the Bar in PA, NY, NJ, MA, or DE is helpful.
• Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Confident and professional demeanor in court appearances.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
