The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in workers' compensation defense and employer liability law. Duties:

• Represent clients in workers' compensation and employer liability matters.
• Handle a high volume of cases while meeting deadlines.
• Provide legal counsel and representation for employers and insurers.
• Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Conduct legal research and provide advice on workers' compensation laws in Maryland and Pennsylvania.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
• Maintain organized case files and managed caseload independently.
• Collaborate with other legal professionals within the firm to ensure the best outcomes for clients.

Requirements:

• Active bar membership in Maryland and Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in workers' compensation defense or a related field.
• Familiarity with workers' compensation and employer liability claims in Maryland and Pennsylvania.
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet strict deadlines.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice law in Maryland and Pennsylvania.
• Additional licensure in other jurisdictions (e.g., Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, Washington D.C.) is a plus.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of workers' compensation laws in Maryland and Pennsylvania.
• Excellent legal research and writing abilities.
