Duties

  • Prepare and respond to written discovery requests with minimal oversight.
  • Conduct depositions and manage motions related to discovery challenges.
  • Create and implement comprehensive discovery plans efficiently.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including opposition motions for class certification in wage and hour litigation.
  • Maintain professional interactions with clients, demonstrating expertise in both legal and strategic considerations.
  • Ensure effective communication and consistent follow-through on all case matters.

Requirements

  • Minimum of four years of experience in defending wage and hour litigation, particularly in class action scenarios.
  • Strong understanding of California and federal wage and hour regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage the discovery process and litigation strategies independently.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admitted to practice law in California and in good standing.
