Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join its team remotely. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of litigation experience and must be licensed to practice law in Georgia. Location:

Duties:

• Assess new litigation files and establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations.
• Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as necessary.
• Prepare discovery responses and manage document production.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing detailed reports.
• Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial when required.
• Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense.
• Must be licensed to practice law in Georgia.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and willingness to learn new database management systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients, colleagues, and staff.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in Georgia.
