Job Overview

A law firm is seeking a mid- to Senior-Level Labor Associate Attorney to join its team in Los Angeles, CA. Duties

• Represent clients in labor and employment law matters, including arbitrations and unfair labor practice charges.
• Provide counsel on federal and state employment laws.
• Handle employment litigation and agency charges.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff on case management.
• Prepare and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Advise clients on labor relations, employee rights, and compliance with labor laws.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on labor and employment law changes.
• Represent clients before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and other relevant agencies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in California traditional labor and employment law.
• Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws.
• Experience with employment litigation and handling agency charges.
• Prior experience with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) is a plus.
• Active membership in the California Bar.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent writing and interpersonal skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
