This role provides an opportunity to contribute to a leading practice in Title IX and civil rights law, focusing on investigations, regulatory compliance, and policy development. Candidates will support institutions in navigating complex legal and organizational challenges related to harassment, discrimination, and safety issues.Duties:Conduct investigations under Title IX, Title VI, Title VII, or civil rights or criminal laws addressing:Sexual and gender-based harassment and violenceProtected class discrimination or harassmentChild or elder abuseAssist institutions and governmental agencies in designing trauma-informed, impartial, and fair prevention and resolution processes.Develop and revise written policies, procedures, and educational materials.Ensure regulatory compliance, including Title IX, the Clery Act, and child protection frameworks.Collaborate with diverse institutions, including educational organizations, healthcare systems, religious entities, and non-profits, to design and implement policies and infrastructure addressing misconduct.Provide expert guidance on safety and governance issues.Requirements:Demonstrated experience in:Investigations and resolution processes involving sexual harassment, protected class discrimination, or child/elder abuse.Developing and implementing compliance frameworks under Title IX and related regulations.Working with trauma-informed approaches in legal contexts.Exceptional oral and written communication skills.Proven leadership, organizational, and analytical abilities.Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.Willingness to travel as required.Licensed to practice law in Minnesota.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:A license to practice law in Minnesota is mandatory.Skills:Strong knowledge of civil rights and compliance frameworks, including Title IX and the Clery Act.Ability to manage complex investigations and deliver fair, unbiased outcomes.Excellent written and verbal communication.Strategic problem-solving and policy development skills.Capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.Job Location:Minneapolis, MN
