Trial Attorney

Job Overview: An opportunity exists for a Trial Attorney to join a growing in-house counsel practice in Dallas, Texas. This position focuses on insurance defense and requires handling cases from inception to trial, providing superior service to clients within a hybrid work environment.

Location:

• Dallas, Texas

Duties:

• Manage a caseload independently, from answer to trial.
• Prepare and present cases in court.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the litigation process.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in a learning culture.
• Leverage technology for case management and courtroom presentations.

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in Texas, with good standing in the bar.
• Insurance defense experience, preferably with 1st or 2nd chair trial experience.
• Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
• Strong written and oral communication abilities.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Excellent academic credentials.

Certifications:

• Texas Bar license (required).

Skills:

• Proficiency in automation and technology for legal proceedings.
• Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.
• Mock trial or trial advocacy experience for new graduates is required.
