Duties

• Court Appearances: Prepare and appear in court in a timely manner, ensuring proper handling of appearances. Some travel may be required, including overnight stays for distant locations.

• Court Coverage Placements: Review and request coverage for court appearances when necessary, attaching required documents and ensuring proper coverage arrangements are made.

• Mid-Litigation Motions and Responses: Draft, review, and file necessary motions during the litigation process.

• Trial and Arbitration Preparation: Prepare for trials and arbitrations, which may involve overnight travel to various counties.

• Client and Attorney Communication: Communicate with consumers, their employers, and attorneys to resolve accounts or legal issues.

Requirements

• License: Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Nevada. Additional licenses in other states are a plus.

• Court Appearances: Comfortable appearing in court, with reliable transportation for travel to court locations.

• Multi-Tasking: Strong ability to manage a high-volume caseload, requiring excellent time management and organizational skills.

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for client and attorney interactions.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the State Bar of Nevada is required.
