A reputable law firm based in Towson, MD is seeking an experienced and compassionate Family Law Attorney to join its team. This position involves providing legal representation to clients facing significant family-related issues such as divorce, child custody, and property disputes. Duties

• Manage a diverse caseload of family law cases, handling all aspects from initial consultation to case resolution.
• Develop and implement strategic case plans, conduct legal research, and draft legal documents.
• Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and mediation sessions.
• Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients, preparing them for court appearances.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
• Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and staff, ensuring high-quality work standards.
• Maintain strong client relationships, offering regular updates and ongoing support.
• Stay current with developments in family law and attend continuing legal education (CLE) programs.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Maryland State Bar with good standing.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in family law.
• Proven track record of managing complex family law cases.
• Exceptional litigation and negotiation skills.
• Strong leadership abilities and team management experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of empathy and discretion in handling sensitive matters.
• Proficiency in legal research and case management software (e.g., CLIO).

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Maryland State Bar.
