Job Overview: A law firm in Dallas, TX, is seeking a dedicated Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join our litigation team. The ideal candidate will manage a caseload of personal injury matters from inception through resolution, including litigation and settlement negotiations.

Job Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of various types of personal injury matters in litigation
  • Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients, including filing complaints
  • Draft meet and confer letters to opposing counsel regarding discovery disputes
  • Prepare clients for depositions and other applicable hearings
  • Take and defend depositions throughout litigation
  • Prepare and respond to motions, including dispositive motions
  • Attend court appearances as required
  • Negotiate settlements for personal injury cases
  • Direct and support investigation on all assigned litigation matters

Requirements:

  • 1-4 years of Personal Injury Law experience
  • Strong background in Personal Injury Litigation, including pre-litigation case management and discovery
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission and current good standing with the CA State Bar is required
  • Experience with Worker's Compensation cases is a plus
