Duties:

  • Manage all aspects of pre-litigation personal injury cases, ensuring thorough and effective case handling.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, educating them on their case and managing their medical treatment.
  • Maintain and organize client case files.
  • Review, analyze, and organize medical records and bills to support the client's case.
  • Calculate damages, including lost wages, property damage, and medical expenses.
  • Prepare and submit demand packages to insurance companies.
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance companies on behalf of clients.
  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
  • Handle all aspects of discovery and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Attend mediations, depositions, court appearances, and trials as needed.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and stay updated on relevant laws.
  • Lead and supervise a legal team handling client cases.
  • Manage a high volume of cases efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in personal injury law or litigation (preferred).
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active member in good standing with the California Bar (required).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and intellectual curiosity.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working in a Mac-based environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active California State Bar license (required).
