Duties:

  • Provide strategic counsel on a variety of business matters, including mergers, acquisitions, entity formation, and corporate governance.

  • Build strong relationships with clients, offering solutions tailored to their needs and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide high-quality, efficient legal services.
  • Manage client projects and business transactions, including preparing and reviewing contracts and other legal documents.

Requirements:

  • Experience in business and corporate law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, entity formation, and governance.
  • A strong client base or the ability to develop new business relationships.
  • Active membership in the Washington State Bar or eligibility for reciprocity. Membership in the California or Oregon State Bar is a plus.
  • Ability to manage complex legal matters while working effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Washington State Bar (or eligibility for reciprocity).
  • Additional Bar memberships (California or Oregon) are a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of business and corporate law.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and legal analysis skills.
