This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney with 2-5 years of experience in mass tort litigation. The successful candidate will have a critical role in managing a diverse docket, collaborating with various stakeholders, and contributing to the continued success and growth of the firm’s mass tort division.

Duties:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of a mass tort docket from initiation to resolution
• Ensure compliance with critical deadlines and case timelines
• Supervise and mentor paralegals and legal assistants assigned to the docket
• Develop, implement, and refine case management processes and procedures
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and guidance throughout the litigation process
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with other law firms involved in the litigation
• Review and analyze medical records and other case-related documents
• Scrutinize documents to be filed with the court or served to the opposing party before submission
• Assist the legal team with overflow tasks and special projects as required
• Analyze case trends and identify inefficiencies to improve processes
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and effective case management

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree
• Active membership in the Texas State Bar
• 2-5 years of experience in mass tort litigation or related fields

Education:

• Doctoral degree (Juris Doctor)

Certifications:

• Texas State Bar License

• Strong litigation experience, particularly in mass tort cases
• Excellent case management and organizational skills
• Ability to manage a high volume of complex cases
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
