A law firm seeks a Transactional Attorney (Associate) to join its team in Jacksonville, FL. This role is designed for a driven professional eager to tackle diverse transactional matters. The position offers an opportunity to work collaboratively while honing expertise in areas like commercial finance, real estate, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate law.

Duties

  • Handle a variety of transactional legal matters, including commercial finance, corporate governance, real estate transactions, and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Collaborate with clients to provide strategic advice on business and financial decisions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other transactional documents.
  • Conduct due diligence to support mergers, acquisitions, and other financial transactions.
  • Research and interpret relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents to ensure compliance.
  • Work closely with team members to deliver high-quality service in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of professional experience in transactional law, particularly in one or more of the following areas: commercial finance, corporate law, real estate, mergers and acquisitions, or financial services.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active member in good standing of the Florida Bar or eligible for admission.
