Job Overview
A prominent law firm located in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a highly skilled attorney with a minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial leasing. This role will contribute to the firm's Real Estate Group and offer a dynamic work environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Duties

  • Led the drafting and negotiation of commercial leases and associated documents, including term sheets, letters of intent, work letters, and SNDAs.
  • Supervise and mentor junior leasing attorneys.
  • Engage directly with clients, opposing counsel, brokers, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with various parties including clients and colleagues.
  • Produce deliverables promptly and manage correspondence efficiently.
  • Ensure high-quality and timely work product delivery.
  • Meet deadlines and performance expectations consistently.
  • Build and maintain positive professional relationships.
  • Adhere to all firm policies and procedures.
  • Participate in both sedentary and physical tasks, including prolonged computer use and meetings.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
  • Admitted to practice in Georgia.
  • At least 8 years of experience in drafting and negotiating commercial leases and related agreements.

Education

  • JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Must be a member of the Georgia Bar.

Skills

  • In-depth understanding of the commercial leasing market, including knowledge of market standards for various lease types.
  • Experience with a variety of property types, such as office, retail, industrial, and life sciences.
  • Proven experience representing landlords.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
