Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy.
  • Prepare legal documents, including briefs, motions, and pleadings.
  • Negotiate settlements and engage in settlement discussions with opposing counsel.
  • Provide legal advice and represent clients in various legal matters.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members on case strategy and preparation.
  • Manage caseloads effectively, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as required.
  • Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Stay current with legal developments and changes in the law relevant to the firm's practice areas.

Requirements

  • Strong research and negotiation skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active Bar license in California.
