Job Overview:
A well-established law firm in Tampa, FL is looking for an experienced Family Law Associate Attorney to join their growing team. This is an in-office position with hybrid flexibility, requiring travel to mediations, depositions, and court appearances in Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas Counties. The ideal candidate should be passionate about family law and possess a solid track record of delivering high-quality legal work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

• Handle all aspects of family law cases, from case initiation to trial preparation.
• Manage case files, provide legal analysis, conduct discovery, and draft legal documents such as petitions, motions, orders, discovery requests, and financial affidavits.
• Represent clients in court, depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Lead and assist in trials, ensuring high ethical standards and professionalism.
• Conduct legal research and collaborate with colleagues on case strategies.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail and critical thinking throughout case management.
• Foster strong client relationships while maintaining confidentiality.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-3 years of recent experience in family law.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and organize multiple cases efficiently.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, for legal research, writing, and client negotiations.
• Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Must possess the highest regard for confidentiality, ethics, and professionalism.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Florida Bar License in good standing.
