A prominent law firm seeks an experienced CMBS Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of relevant experience in CMBS (Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities) lending and servicing. This role involves providing legal support for balance sheet financing and asset management of CMBS loans.

Duties:

  • Provide legal guidance and support for commercial real estate finance transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate loan documents related to CMBS and balance sheet loans.
  • Assist in the servicing and asset management of CMBS loans, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Work closely with lenders, investors, and financial institutions to structure and manage real estate finance deals.
  • Conduct legal research and provide written and verbal advice on complex commercial real estate finance matters.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of legal services across multiple markets.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, specifically within CMBS lending and servicing.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle balance sheet financing and asset management of CMBS loans.
  • Strong academic background and excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Solid understanding of commercial real estate finance structures, legal principles, and regulatory frameworks.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active State Bar membership in good standing.
