Key Responsibilities

  • Draft various legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, and legal memoranda.

  • Represent clients in state and federal courtrooms, showcasing confidence and competence during oral arguments and trial proceedings.

  • Communicate consistently with clients to provide updates, manage expectations, and offer strategic counsel.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure cohesive and efficient case handling.

Qualifications & Background

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience practicing in a litigation setting.

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Texas (in good standing).

  • Proven ability to manage a caseload independently while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.

  • Prior courtroom and trial experience is strongly preferred.

Academic Credentials

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited institution.

  • Completion of an undergraduate degree before law school.
