A law firm in Washington, DC is seeking a Finance Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of project finance and M&A experience, with fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese being preferred.

 

Job Overview:

The Finance Associate Attorney will handle a variety of finance matters, with a focus on project finance and M&A transactions. Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is preferred.

 

Duties:

  • Handle project finance transactions, including drafting and negotiating finance agreements.
  • Assist with M&A transactions, including due diligence and contract drafting.
  • Provide legal counsel and support to clients on finance-related matters.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop and execute transaction strategies.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on finance law issues.

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in finance law.
  • Experience in project finance and M&A transactions.
  • Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the DC Bar.

 

Skills:

  • Experience in project finance and M&A transactions.
  • Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese (preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
