Pre-Litigation Attorney

Location:

Duties:

• Review client intakes and conduct initial meetings with clients.
• Manage a caseload of assigned cases in the pre-litigation phase.
• Develop and implement pre-litigation strategies to resolve cases.
• Oversee legal assistants and paralegals to ensure tasks are completed effectively.
• Correspond with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and other parties involved in the case.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies.
• Assist with preparing legal pleadings and documents.
• Contribute to the development of mass tort pre-litigation and litigation strategies.
• Collaborate with mass tort attorneys and supervise support staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must be a licensed attorney in the State of Montana.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and work effectively under deadlines.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Montana.

Skills:

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Experience with pre-litigation or litigation processes is a plus.
