A law firm in Columbia, SC, is seeking a skilled Commercial Real Estate Attorney with 2-8 years of experience. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive legal support in commercial real estate transactions.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, purchase agreements, and other documents.
  • Conduct due diligence, including title and survey review, zoning, and environmental assessments.
  • Advise clients on real estate development projects, land use, and zoning matters.
  • Handle closings and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provide legal counsel on property management and landlord-tenant issues.
  • Assist in the resolution of real estate disputes and litigation matters.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the South Carolina State Bar.
  • 2-8 years of experience practicing law, focusing on commercial real estate.
  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate laws and regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple transactions and meet deadlines.

Certifications:

  • Certification in Real Estate Law (preferred but not required).
