A law firm is seeking a Litigation Of Counsel for their office in Reston, VA.

Job Overview:

As Litigation Of Counsel, you will supervise associates, develop case strategies, and provide high-level support in complex commercial and product liability litigation matters. You will also communicate with clients, draft legal documents, and ensure adherence to firm policies and practices.

Duties:

• Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, and third parties.
• Supervise associates and guide on legal matters.
• Work collaboratively with experts and assist in fact development and depositions.
• Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
• Help develop case strategy and contribute to litigation planning.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of work assignments.
• Foster positive relationships and maintain client satisfaction.
• Comply with all firm policies and practices.
• Engage in physical and sedentary activities as required by the job.

Requirements:

• JD degree from a nationally recognized law school.
• 8+ years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Admitted to practice law in New York and VA.
• Experience in product liability and complex commercial litigation.
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical and medical device industry is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Conceptual thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Management skills to supervise and mentor associates.

Education and Certifications:

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in New York and VA.
