A law firm seeks an experienced and strategic Partner to join its First-Party Property Practice in Fort Lauderdale. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience handling first-party property defense matters, along with a strong book of business. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a seasoned attorney to grow and expand their practice while benefiting from a collaborative and supportive environment. As a Partner, you will have the autonomy to lead your practice while utilizing the firm's in-house resources for business development, marketing, and talent acquisition.

Duties

  • Lead and manage first-party property defense matters, providing high-level legal expertise to clients.
  • Develop and expand a profitable book of business, maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Mentor and guide junior attorneys and support staff, fostering a high-performing team.
  • Collaborate with the firm's marketing, business development, and talent acquisition teams to grow your practice and client base.
  • Manage complex litigation cases from inception through resolution, ensuring favorable outcomes.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the practice group, ensuring growth and success.
  • Maintain a strong focus on client service, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term relationships.
  • Participate in the development of business strategies and client retention efforts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in first-party property defense matters.
  • A proven track record of handling complex property litigation and managing significant client relationships.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship abilities, with a passion for guiding teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A robust book of business is required.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proven ability to develop business and grow a practice.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Must be admitted to practice law in Florida and in good standing.
