Plaintiff's Employment Law Attorney

A law firm seeks an experienced Plaintiff's Employment Law Attorney to join its growing practice in Los Angeles, CA. This full-time position is for a passionate attorney with experience in litigation, particularly in employment law. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in employment law and litigation, with the ability to handle all aspects of cases independently while working in collaboration with a supportive team. Duties

• Handle all aspects of employment law litigation, primarily wrongful termination cases.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other necessary legal documents.
• Independently manage case files and represent clients through all stages of litigation.
• Participate in client meetings, provide legal advice, and guide clients through the legal process.
• Work collaboratively with a team of attorneys to strategize and resolve cases.
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court as necessary.
• Prepare and file legal briefs, motions, and discovery documents.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date case files and legal documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, preferably with a focus on employment law.
• Proven experience in handling wrongful termination and other employment-related cases.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to articulate complex legal concepts.
• Capacity to manage and execute legal work independently while contributing to a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Must be licensed to practice law in California.
