Job Overview: A leading law firm seeks an experienced Infrastructure / PPP Associate Attorney to join its renowned Infrastructure practice in San Francisco. This role is ideal for candidates with 3-7 years of experience in infrastructure-focused projects, specifically in public-private partnerships (PPP) and alternative infrastructure delivery methods.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in the infrastructure sector, including equity investors, financing parties, and contractors.
  • Work on projects related to transit, utilities, energy transition, higher education, water, transit-oriented development (TOD), and social infrastructure.
  • Manage full life-cycle infrastructure projects, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and financing.
  • Draft and negotiate P3 concession agreements, design-build (DB), and operations & maintenance (O&M) contracts.
  • Navigate competitive procurement processes with public owners.
  • Handle project financing matters (e.g., PABs, USPP).

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of relevant experience in infrastructure law.
  • Membership in the California State Bar.
  • Excellent academic credentials and strong communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the State Bar of California.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in PPP and alternative infrastructure delivery methods.
  • Experience with project financing and procurement processes.
  • Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
