Litigation Attorney (Remote)

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a dedicated Litigation Attorney to support its dynamic practice in handling complex litigation matters. Duties

• Collaborate with partners and associates on various case-related tasks.

• Draft complex pleadings, written discovery, motions, and legal briefs.

• Communicate with individual clients and prepare materials for the client services team.

• Manage client-facing litigation tasks, including fact-gathering, case workups, and document collection.

• Conduct extensive legal and factual research using Westlaw and other sources.

• Coordinate with courts, external counsel, clients, experts, and vendors as needed.

• Perform additional duties as required.

Requirements

• Proven experience handling complex litigation.

• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong time-management abilities with adaptability to shifting priorities.

• Capacity to maintain a professional and empathetic approach when interacting with clients.

• Familiarity with federal and state legal procedures and court rules.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and sound judgment.

• Proficiency in managing litigation across multiple jurisdictions.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Must be an active and in-good-standing member of a U.S. State Bar.
