The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a wide array of workers' compensation cases from start to finish. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong litigation experience, particularly in handling depositions and trials.

Duties:

  • Manage workers' compensation cases from initiation to resolution
  • Conduct depositions and hearings, including trials
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and case summaries
  • Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation and updates
  • Provide legal advice and representation to clients in workers' compensation matters
  • Ensure timely filing of legal documents and adherence to all applicable legal procedures
  • Maintain thorough case records and documentation

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in workers' compensation law
  • Experience handling workers' compensation claims from start to finish
  • Strong litigation skills, particularly in depositions and trials
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the California State Bar
