Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is seeking a Civil Litigation Associate to join its team in Boston. The role offers the opportunity to handle complex civil litigation matters, including drafting legal motions, conducting research, preparing for depositions, and representing clients in court. Duties:

• Draft legal briefs, motions, and other court documents
• Conduct legal research and factual investigations
• Prepare for and participate in depositions
• Represent clients in court hearings and proceedings
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients on case strategies
• Provide legal counsel to clients regarding litigation matters
• Manage day-to-day tasks related to civil litigation cases
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in civil litigation
• Prior experience in a law firm or judicial clerkship preferred
• Strong understanding of civil law and litigation procedures
• Experience in drafting legal motions and conducting legal research
• Ability to prepare for and participate in depositions
• Knowledge of court procedures and experience representing clients in court
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently and independently

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Massachusetts Bar
