A law firm in Mountain View, CA is seeking a Junior Trademark Intellectual Property Associate Attorney with 1-3 years of experience to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess superior analytical skills, strong academic credentials, and excellent oral, writing, and interpersonal skills.

Duties:

  • Conducting trademark clearance searches and providing clearance opinions.
  • Drafting and filing trademark applications with the USPTO.
  • Managing trademark portfolios and advising clients on trademark prosecution and enforcement strategies.
  • Conducting due diligence and drafting IP-related agreements, including licensing and assignment agreements.
  • Assisting with trademark litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses.
  • Providing legal advice on copyright and domain name matters.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar or eligibility to sit for the next California Bar exam.
  • 1-3 years of experience in trademark law and intellectual property matters.
  • Experience with trademark clearance, prosecution, and enforcement.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with copyright law, domain name disputes, or other areas of intellectual property law.
  • Familiarity with international trademark laws and procedures.
