Duties and Responsibilities

• Represent clients in transportation law, products liability, and general liability matters.
• Take and defend depositions, and attend court appearances and mediations.
• Draft and oppose motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Provide legal advice and develop strategies for defending clients in personal injury and product liability cases.
• Manage case files, including organizing evidence and maintaining accurate records.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analyze complex legal issues.
• Negotiate settlements and work toward favorable outcomes for clients.
• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure effective case management.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting transportation law, products liability, and general liability.

Requirements

• 2-12 years of experience in transportation law, general liability, personal injury defense, or product liability defense litigation.
• Significant experience in taking and defending depositions, attending court appearances, participating in mediations, and drafting or opposing motions.
• Strong writing and analytical skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
