A law firm in Clayton, MO, is seeking a motivated Creditors’ Rights and Replevin Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong interest in handling creditors’ rights matters, including replevin actions, and will be committed to providing high-quality legal services to clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Represent creditors in litigation matters involving debt collection, replevin actions, and other creditors’ rights issues.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Manage discovery processes, including conducting and defending depositions.
  • Prepare for and attend court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
  • Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediation and alternative dispute resolution forums.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on creditors’ rights issues.

Requirements:

  • JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Missouri Bar or eligible for admission by motion.
  • Courtroom experience preferred, particularly in creditors’ rights litigation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Certifications:

  • JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
