Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking a highly skilled litigation associate with 4-7 years of experience to join its team. Duties:

  • Manage a variety of litigation matters involving fiduciary obligations, pension plan issues, and employee benefits.
  • Draft and respond to discovery requests, pleadings, motions, and briefs in state and federal court.
  • Engage in eDiscovery processes and document review.
  • Assist in deposition preparation and trial support.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys, clients, and staff to ensure efficient case management and timely resolution.
  • Maintain organization and meet deadlines while managing multiple projects.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of litigation experience.
  • Strong background in drafting legal documents, including discovery, pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Preferred experience with eDiscovery and depositions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar of California.

Skills:

  • Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Time management and organizational proficiency.
  • Proficiency in eDiscovery tools is a plus.
