Corporate Attorney

Elmhurst office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a corporate attorney with 3 years of work experience in a corporate law environment. The candidate will be drafting, reviewing, and revising various transactional documents (including purchase/sale agreements, operating agreements, stock/share-related transactions, etc.). Will be assisting on due diligence projects for M&A and private equity transactions. Identifying and relaying issues to senior attorneys for resolution. Communicate and interact with clients, partners, counsel, associates, and staff. Develop practice area expertise, assist with knowledge management and business development efforts and participate in training sessions. Must be a member in good standing of the Illinois State Bar.

The candidate should have a J.D. from an accredited law school. Must have strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Being energetic and enthusiastic about knowledge of transactional/corporate work is required. Team-oriented mindset, as well as the ability to take ownership of and complete tasks without direct supervision, is needed. Must have interpersonal skills enabling successful and professional communication. Should have the ability to work under pressure, prioritize and meet deadlines.
