A law firm seeks a dynamic and highly motivated Litigation Attorney to lead its office operations, manage a team, and provide exceptional legal services across a variety of practice areas. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a litigator with strong leadership skills to oversee multiple departments, including Estate Planning, Probate, Medicaid Benefits, and Litigation. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, inspire a team, and have the drive to help the firm achieve its goals.

Duties:

  • Lead and manage daily office operations, overseeing a team of skilled paralegals and support staff.
  • Handle litigation matters, including hearings, mediations, and trials, with confidence and professionalism.
  • Provide legal expertise across multiple practice areas, including estate planning, probate, Medicaid benefits (long-term care), and litigation.
  • Manage a full caseload while mentoring and guiding junior team members.
  • Ensure high-quality client service by maintaining effective communication and delivering impactful legal solutions.
  • Drive firm growth by actively contributing to revenue generation efforts through a tiered commission-based earning model.
  • Set the tone for the office with daily morning meetings, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in litigation with a strong background in handling estate planning, probate, and Medicaid-related matters.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience managing a team and office operations.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills to balance client needs and internal team objectives.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to managing caseloads and achieving revenue targets.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar License (Required).

Skills:

  • Expertise in estate planning, probate, and Medicaid benefits (long-term care) law.
  • Strong litigation skills with the ability to manage hearings, trials, and mediations.
  • Leadership and team management experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
