A law firm in Seattle, WA, specializing in digital health law, is seeking a Junior Digital Health Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team. The firm represents over 400 digital health companies, offering a unique opportunity to work exclusively in digital health and represent startups and founder-led companies across various stages, from inception to capital markets.

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and strategic advice to digital health startups and founder-led companies on regulatory compliance, focusing on federal, state, and commercial payer reimbursement, including value-based care and accountable care organizations.
  • Advise on fraud and abuse issues, including Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark law, False Claims Act, fee-splitting, and state-specific fraud and abuse laws.
  • Handle corporate practice of medicine and state law considerations for multi-state digital health practices.
  • Support clients in navigating legal challenges related to healthcare technology, including artificial intelligence, healthcare IT, telehealth/telemedicine, remote patient monitoring, wearables, and health apps.

Requirements:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Washington State Bar or eligibility for admission by waiver.
  • 2-4 years of experience in healthcare law with a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance, preferably within digital health.
  • Strong interest in technology and its application in healthcare.
  • Superior organizational and project management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent business judgment and commitment to client service.
