A prestigious law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking an experienced Insurance and Bad Faith Litigation Attorney to join its dynamic litigation practice. This role involves handling insurance and bad faith disputes in California and other jurisdictions while providing strategic legal counsel on insurance coverage matters. The position offers flexibility with the option to work remotely or in the office.

Duties

• Represent clients in insurance and bad faith litigation cases from inception to resolution.

• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal briefs.

• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex insurance matters.

• Manage discovery, including depositions and document reviews.

• Develop litigation strategies and provide liability analyses to clients.

• Participate in alternative dispute resolution and trial preparation.

• Handle cases in both state and federal courts.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, with at least 2 years handling insurance coverage matters and bad faith litigation.

• Extensive experience managing insurance-related litigation, including breach of contract and bad faith claims.

• Strong motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation skills.

• Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently and professionally.

• Excellent research, writing, and analytical abilities.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.

Certifications

• An active member in good standing with the California State Bar.
