Job Overview
A prominent law firm based in Austin, TX, is seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney to join its dynamic Litigation group. This role offers the opportunity to engage in high-stakes litigation while working alongside experienced professionals. The ideal candidate will contribute to case strategies, manage client communications, and mentor junior associates, ultimately fostering professional growth and collaboration within the team.

Duties

• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide legal guidance.
• Supervise and mentor junior associates, ensuring quality work and professional development.
• Collaborate with experts and assist development, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
• Help develop and execute comprehensive case strategies tailored to client objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Strong academic credentials with a JD and relevant degrees (MD, MPH, PharmD, or Epidemiology).
• Admitted to practice in Texas.
• Proven experience in product liability and complex commercial litigation, with a science background.
• Familiarity with the pharmaceutical and medical device industries is preferred.

• Juris Doctor (JD)
• Relevant advanced degrees (MD, MPH, PharmD, or Epidemiology)
